Antipast and Cacharel
22nd October 2010 ![]() The Japanese brand Antipast launches for Cacharel a mini colourful socks collection for Spring Summer 2011. ![]() The mini collection is developped in co-branding by Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato, the designer duo from Antipast and Cacharel. The bi-colour pair of socks is declined in four flashy colours from the Spring Summer 11 collection: pink, bright yellow, tangerine and watermelon contrasted with nude. ![]() The socks will be available from March 2011 in selective French and International boutiques. ![]() For any images and price request, please contact the Press Office ![]() Antipast in few words Antipast is a Japanese brand created in 1992 by two young designers Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato. They began they career separately as textile designers. While Junko worked as a freelance designer for socks and accessories, Kyoko exhibited dyed and wowen textiles. They began as a team for designing costumes and accessories for magazines, and soon they established their company "Coup de Champignon Co.Ltd". Since the beginning the brand has known a big success in Japan and around the world. In 2008, they received the Global Summit Design Innovation award with the socks collection they made for the costumes of Alice in Wonderland directed by Tim Burton. |
